The Liv-ex Claret Chip Index continued its rapid ascent last week on the back of heavy Lafite trade. The index closed at 390.48 on Friday – a 1.16 percent rise week-on-week. The benchmark is currently up 43.85% year-to-date.
One of the most notable climbers was undoubtedly Lafite 2005, which rose from £10,450 to £11,600 (+11%). The 2004 also saw strong demand and increased in value by 7% (from £7,000 to £7,500).
