Your membership pricing questions
Can anyone join Liv-ex?
Any professional wine merchant can apply to join Liv-ex subject to checking and approval by our membership committee. Liv-ex will never allow private collectors to trade on the exchange. Trading on Liv-ex is anonymous. We’ll never share details of your membership or trading activity without your permission.
Do you have to join Liv-ex in order to use LWIN?
No. LWIN is the free universal wine identifier. Its creative commons license means it’ll be free forever. If you want to use our LWIN APIs, fees may be applicable.
Are there any other fees?
Membership is subject to a sign-up fee; currently £1,800. Commission on sales and purchases is charged at 2% as standard. It’s possible to reduce this with an annual commission package. Please speak to our Sales team. All trades are settled by Liv-ex using our logistics network. We offer flat rate settlement fees, covering logistics and administration. They begin at £4.00 for buyers to collect from Liv-ex, and £4.00 for sellers to deliver to Liv-ex. Find our logistics guide and prices here
